Running on Gitpod

Gitpod allows you to run the notebooks online without installing. The process is quite simple.

Note that you need to have a Github Account!!!! If you haven't got a Github account, get one here

1. Visit this gipod address.
   1. You can login to GitPod with your GitHub username.
   2. You do not need to give your LinkedIn details for the extra capabilities (unless you want to).
   3. You will need to fill a short questionnaire on why you're using GitPod, and select your environment. Defaults are fine
2. This will start a container with the materials running.
3. After a short wait, you should get the online VSCode screen on the browser. It should look like this:
4. If you are familiar with VSCode, you can just navigate to the notebooks folder and start using them. If you'd rather use the Jupyter Lab interface, we have an few simple steps:
5. Go to the bottom and click on the "Ports" tab (circled in red below)
6. You should now click on the address that starts by https:8888-:
7. This will launch a jupyter lab instance in another window, where you can directly run the notebooks:
