Re-implementation of the v1 features from scratch

As the old codebase was very complex and not easy to maintain, a complete rewrite was initiated. This release contains the re-implementation of all v1 features in a more modern codebase.

Add v2 features

In this release, the original frontend was updated with v2 features. Still based on the original v1 codebase.
