I recently started working on CI/CD for the extension repository and this is the result of that work.
This here should help with having tests on PRs as well as deploying on changes and will also ensure that we can enable branch protection soon.
Feel free to merge yourself, as noted, we'll probably at some point soon enable branch protection for main, hope thats fine with you. I'll definitely look into making automerging possible.

Slightly off note, but I also started a discussion internally on the xz thing and work on this over at zed-industries/zed@main...xz-downloads. I hope to get this in into the next release if no one is opposed to that.
