The bump workflow that produced this commit reports that its validation step failed and opens this branch specifically on red; because this change only makes 2.4.18-develop.24 the default without any compatibility fixes, every ordinary build using the default dependency inherits at least one known failing build or required test gate. Add the necessary source/test adjustments or keep the previous pin until the full validation suite passes. CLAUDE.mdL25-L25
