No Sound on Intel Panther Lake (LG Gram) - Missing SoundWire Machine Driver for RT1320/RT713 #5750
I am experiencing no audio output from the internal speakers or the 3.5mm headphone jack on a new Intel Panther Lake laptop (LG Gram). The kernel detects the SoundWire amplifiers (Realtek 1320 and 0713) but fails to find a machine driver for the ACPI-reported configuration. It falls back to a generic driver, which only maps the DMIC and HDMI outputs, leaving the primary PCM audio unavailable. This shows up as "Dummy Output" in the output selector
Hardware:
System Model: LG Gram 17Z90U (17Z90U-G.AU85A3)
CPU: Intel Core Ultra (Panther Lake)
Audio Controller: Intel Panther Lake HDMI (sof-audio-pci-intel-ptl)
Amplifiers/Codecs (from dmesg): Realtek part_id 0x1320 and part_id 0x0713
Software / OS:
OS: Arch Linux
Kernel: linux-mainline
SOF Firmware Version: 2.14.1.1

Ok this is interesting, @bardliao@ujfalusi any ideas why the playback PCMs are not found. The PCH dmic and HDMI PCMs are found, so DSP is fully functional:
@superlaser97 Can you rename sof-dyndbg.conf.txt to sof-dyndbg.conf and put it in the /etc/modprobe.d/ folder and share the full dmesg log? We don't know what happened with the limited log. Use SoundWire default machine driver with function topologies is expected for Panter Lake.
@superlaser97 The dmesg doesn't include the log that right after boot. But it seems the sound card is created. Can you also share the alsa-info output? @oder-chiou Could you take a look?
@superlaser97 The full_dmesg_log.txt file seems to contain insufficient information. Please provide it again. The strings in it should include the keyword "tplg".
@superlaser97 No worries. I didn't miss that comment. I cleaned up the PR and will double check if it will break the existing topology. I will submit the patch if there is no issue.
@bardliao Sorry to ping you again, but the main git branch does not work for me. I don't remember if it was yours or @oder-chiou whose branch I'm running, but I'm running a 7.1-rc1 kernel with sound. The main thesofproject git still leaves me with no sound.
@bobo123g, our development branch is topic/sof-dev, you would need that, the patch is in there, or take latest mainline RC kernel (c84179a is the patch upstream)

The ASoC: Intel: sof_sdw: append dai type to dai link name unconditionally patch is in the v7.2-rc1 kernel.
@bardliao Sorry to ping you again, I know you're busy. This does look like a kernel issue though, because I have sound on the patched 7.1-rc1. I do not have sound in the latest sof-dev or mainline rc (7.2-rc5). All relevant patches seem to be merged, so I have no idea what's going on.
