Initial testing worked fine to me, but we should fully test it.

Important: PyYAML 6.x supports Python 3.13. We haven't updated this dependency since 2021.
Python 3.13 has a new GIL implementation - Python 3.13 introduced significant changes to the Global Interpreter Lock (GIL), making threading behavior different from previous versions. When multiple threads parse YAML simultaneously, a crash can occur.
