This commit fixes a critical bug in the LZ77 compressor where a block of redundant, broken code was causing an infinite loop. It also implements a suite of edge case tests for the decompressor to ensure robustness against truncated or malformed inputs, such as: - Truncated flag bytes - Truncated data after flag bytes - Invalid/out-of-bounds backreferences - Non-multiple-of-8 input lengths Additionally, an over-strict assertion in the unit tests was adjusted to reflect the actual compression ratio of the implementation.
