Hey @tommytwoeyes ! This is perfect and I was always looking for someone professionally in this area, but never had the time for it. Thank you so much for it 💯Do you have an account on https://roadtoreact.com ? If you pass me your email that you used on the platform, I would love to unlock the course content for you. |
Wow, Robin - that is soo cool, man--thanks! Seriously, I just discovered your book yesterday and began reading it. I've been wanting to learn React for some time, but have been too busy with school. I have several apps I want to build, so I'm excited to learn about React. If I wasn't a broke-ass college student, I definitely would have paid for the Complete Course, because you've clearly put together a top-notch React resource. I'm obviously a huge nerd, but I cannot wait to finish Road to React, so I can begin learning how to use React with Firebase. My username/email on roadtoreact.com is: tmalone AT protonmail DOT ch I enjoy proofreading/editing, and your book is already quite well-written, so it was my pleasure to help out. If you'd like, I will continue proofreading the rest of the React Firebase book. And, if there is any other book content or copy you would like to have proofread, just let me know. Tom |
Robin,
I am new to react and found your site & books from Hacker News, where it was highly recommended. I was excited to find such a well-written and thorough resource for learning react.
Unfortunately, at this time I'm unable to afford the full course. However, I have worked professionally as a copywriter and as an editor for online content, so I thought the least I could do would be to contribute what I could to your awesome project by fulfilling your request for contributions to your React/Firebase book by submitting some spelling and grammatical edits I made.
I was only able to get through the files for chapters 1 & 2 tonight. But, if you're satisfied with this contribution, I'd be glad to continue proofreading the rest of the book, as well as any others you want assistance with.
Thanks,
Tom
