Requirements:

Minimum:

CPU: 64 Bit CPU with SSE3
RAM: 512M (Any speed) Storage: 8GB for base 12-15GB+ for usable system
TLDR: Any PC made after 2006
A 100 MBPS connection to your repo server

Recommended:

CPU: 64 Bit CPU with AVX (For QT and Boost and OBS)
Ram: 2GB DDR3 or newer
Storage:20GB (for cache)
TLDR: Any PC made after 2013
A 1 Gigabit connection to your repo server

Installation

Repo

Before installing you can (but it's not required to) setup a repo on a separate pc or on the install PC. However the install will need an internet connection if the Repo is not local.

"Burning" The ISO

The ISO can be 'burned' onto a USB flash drive or a disc using a program like rufus for windows, or Etcher for linux. Ventoy might work it is very hit or miss, the iso has full UEFI support, but no secure boot, and does NOT support persistent storage (Data will be wiped after a reboot).

Simple Install

Tucana now uses a Calamares based installer. Simply open the 'Install System' program on the desktop or the favorites tab and get to installing.

Choosing a repo:

The repo MUST be hand-inputted, we currently have 1 mirror with more coming. Of course you can always host your own.
