v0.7.3: Components, Messaging, YML

This version wraps up PRs from @EvanLovely and @aleksip that:

• ADD: better support for components within subtypes
• ADD: support for .yml in addition to .yaml when naming YAML related files
• FIX: removed the mustache-specific copy from error message
