rats, ruff errors, i swear i ran them before commiting, running again.

@madebygps Sometimes errors can differ across CI due to mismatch between the pre-commit ruff and the local ruff. I think this repo is updated, just FYI in case that happens in another repo. (It can feel like you're going crazy when that happens)
