The stores typically last for three to seven days before reverting to an empty storefront, and any people inside when it changes back are considered lost. One rule for naming the stores is that using a possessive name, like "Susan's Selections" or "Pirate Pete's Pirate Eats," often leads to hostile or dangerous outcomes for those who enter, as tragically demonstrated by Agent Saylor's demise in "Harry's Halloween Costume Emporium."
