Same here, I've been intermittently checking on this thread and its associated issues for a year 🥲. I got a workaround to work with local file refs here that uses released code if helpful. |

We have a different approach in mind. Thank you for the contribution, and my apologies to the folks for whom this would be useful now, but I'm going to hold off for our (slowly) in progress solution. |
