This is a good start. I'd like to see more details under actionaable recommendations and links to high-quality external resources about governance in open source. We also discussed Contributor License Agreements, and I'd like to get your analysis on what they are, as well as some pros and cons of using them.
The voice is fine, but I want to make sure we are keeping a corporate tone to this news outlet for the program. As part of that voice we need to make sure it is relevant to a general reader. To that end, please make sure you are providing information value with this post, not just giving a status update for an event that most folks will have no intellectual or emotional connection to.
