Note, Hibernate 6.1 states compatibility with JDK 11+.

But currently the only compilation issues seem to be with the use of @Type. But seems we should wait until we complete the JDK11 upgrade.

Seems then that JDK 11 is blocking two core deps. Hibernate (this PR) and Spring Core (#4475 ). At least the upgrade is close.
