this is just a repository to collect all kind of informationen related to my journey into learning Colemak DH touch typing on my mechanical split keyboard. It includes ...

I can highly recommend the servcies from Alexei at https://www.keebart.com/ including the Discord online community. https://www.keebart.com/products/corne
I upgraded the "Corne Choc Pro" keyboard with USB-C interconnect and the excellent/premium CNC aluminium case from Keebart. Additionally I moved from MX switches to different kinds of Choc Switches (Clicky whites) and have now come to Ambients Silent Linear Nocturnal Choc Switches which feels a bit strange at the beginning but are super fast to type with.
Part list:
- Keyboard: Corne Choc Pro USB-C version - https://www.keebart.com/products/corne
- Case: Keebart CNC Aluminium - https://www.keebart.com/parts/corne/aluminium-case
- Switches: Ambients Silent Linear Nocturnal Choc Switches 20g resistance - https://www.keebart.com/products/ambient-silent-choc
- Keycaps: MBK Dot Glow - https://www.keebart.com/products/mbk-dots (these look amazing with the "digital rain RGB mode")
I am referencing all links to keebart.com not because I get any money for advertising but because I really appreciate its service and responsiveness. Hint: Join the keebart discord channel to stay informed.
I am using the Corne v4.1 split keyboard with the 3x6 design and Kalih red switches.

- Miryoku-Background-4K-gray.png - a simple background picture showing all Miryoku layers
- Miryoku-Background-4K-gray.xcf - a GIMP file which can be used to design your own desktop background
- Miryoku-Corne-v4-16Layers.vil - Miryoku Layout for 8 layers (Layer 0 to 7) to be imported in VIAL
For questions, create an issue.
This layout needs 8 layers in total and is based on the Miryoku layout. You can find the VIAL configuration file in this repo. It can be imported into your VIAL application. My Corne v4 keyboard is running with a modified firmware which supports 16 layers (Layer 0 to 15).
The white Keycaps are MX keycaps from a Nuphy Air 60v2 keyoard which I have used before switching to the corne.
