This change updates the audio codec used for voice memo recordings from Apple Lossless (ALAC) to AAC, which is more widely supported, for instance if you want to play the file in Nextcloud web using Firefox or Chrome. Signed-off-by: Simon4 <[email protected]>

Hi, thanks for reviewing! Since there are active stable-7.0.x and stable-7.1.x branches, would it be possible to backport this fix to stable-7.0.7? That would help users on older iOS versions who can’t upgrade. Also, do fixes on the stable-7.0.7 branch get released to the App Store regularly? Thanks for the clarification! |

Why this change?
This change updates the audio codec used for voice memo recordings from Apple Lossless (ALAC) to AAC, which is more widely supported, for instance if you want to play the file in Nextcloud web using Firefox or Chrome.
Testing
I do not currently have access to a local development environment, so I haven't tested this change myself. I hope maintainers can verify this before merging.
