We have the bot periodically bump the dependency package versions. Should we approve them to merge, or is manual checking/bumping still required?

We want to make sure that updating dependencies doesn't break anything. Our PR checks doesn't include all our test automation. So, we need to be careful with which PRs we approve without additional testing.
