Motivation & Context

The AG-UI sample guide lists .NET 9 even though the getting-started server and client target net10.0. Its connection-refused instructions also reference two directories that no longer exist, preventing readers from following the documented startup steps.

Description & Review Guide

  • What are the major changes? Require the .NET 10 SDK and point the troubleshooting commands to Step01_GettingStarted/Server and Step01_GettingStarted/Client.
  • What is the impact of these changes? Three documentation lines change; sample behavior is unchanged.
  • What do you want reviewers to focus on? The SDK prerequisite matches both project files, and the commands match the existing Step01 sample directories and the guide's earlier instructions. Static directory, project-target and unchanged-entry checks passed against a8e284c. No .NET SDK build, sample execution, cloud call or product test was run.

Related Issue

N/A - trivial change. These are unambiguous corrections to the guide's setup requirements and obsolete paths. #9581 fixes different MCP and telemetry guides; #8550 and #5216 add other AG-UI sections without changing these instructions.
