The ShareTarget sample allows for the creation of a quicklink which is passed to ReportCompleted (see image)
Unfortunately I do not see, how I could invoke such a quicklink.
Neither does the shell upon sharing a file offer a quicklink option to the ShareTarget app nor does the ShareSource app offer such an option.
Therefore, can you please add to the above mentioned samples the possibility to invoke a quicklink that has been created by the ShareTarget app.
To invoke these quicklinks, have you verified if the ShareSource implementation is correctly setting the QuickLink object in the ShareOperation.ReportCompleted method, and does the target app's appxmanifest include the windows.shareTarget extension with the required QuickLink support?
Beyond the registration in the appxmanifest, the samples need to implement the Protocol activation logic within App.xaml.cpp to handle the specific QuickLink ID passed during the activation event. Does the activation payload in your current test environment include the expected QuickLink ID in the ShareOperation object, or is the activation failing to trigger the target app entirely?

Since the Windows Shell is responsible for rendering the QuickLink in the Share UI, the issue might be that the data package
