Version Agents Kit

Implement versioning for Agents Kit documentation (to be released the day after the SP 11.12 release)

• Structural updates:

  • Create v1/ and v2/ directories for versioned how-to guides, reference guides, and component overviews
  • Add unversioned aliases to v2 pages for backwards compatibility, and update all internal cross-references to use versioned URLs
  • Add version badges to the v1/ and v2/ directories
  • Add alert to v1 docs with a single-click path to the corresponding v2 doc
  • Move the Bedrock connector into the Agents Kit docs
  • General language edit in v2 docs
  • Adjust content/framing in all index pages
  • Link to the new agentic-applications blog tag instead of individual posts in v2

• Agents Kit 2 product updates:

  • List compatible release versions for Agents Kit components in each version
  • AWS Bedrock update for Credentials usage
  • Emphasize Agent Editor as the recommended approach in v2, and update the MxGenAI connector config instructions to reflect Agent Editor
  • Remove "Build a Chatbot Using the AI Bot Starter App" and "Build a Chatbot from Scratch Using the Blank GenAI App" how-to guides from v2 and update references to them; remove AI Bot Starter App from the Agents Kit 2 components table
  • Migrate changes related to the MxGenAI connector for both versions
  • Update connector docs and images for v2, including the renamed Call Agent (Runtime) action
  • Add release guide for Agents Kit 2
