I'm a full stack engineer in Oulu.

I have ran my own IT company through vocational school, and I served in the Finnish Defence Forces' first ICT conscript software platoon as principal frontend engineer. The UI rewrite I led there is now in use across the organisation.

I still build sites and small applications for clients on the side as a light entrepreneur, most recently for a therapy practice and a holiday cottage business in Kainuu. Small clients are good practice at the part engineers usually skip: working out what someone actually needs before writing any code.

Frontend is the part I enjoy most. I like shipping things people use rather than things that demo well.
