Hi @gchokeen, I'm a new contributer for this project. I see it has been some time since you submitted this PR. If you are still interested in adding this feature, would you mind checking why the build is failing? The logs do not seem to be there anymore. And second, I think it would be nice if the feature was also covered by some tests. |

Currently typehead is not allowing to enter free search, for example if you type for ind ("india") but list if list has only has "indonesia" then it automatically selects the first item. But as like google search it should allow us to enter free search query
Option to disable first item auto selection, so user can enter free search queries by setting
focustFirstoption as false.Hope this is useful to others
