Hi, I was informed by @jdgleaver we could perhaps implement this on the frontend side without having to modify the cores. I haven't gotten to this yet though. |

Tested on Powkiddy V90, will force update of displayed message to currently passed one - useful especially when it's done in short periods e.g. for color pallete changing (following libretro/RetroArch#14673 (comment))
