This is my attempt at modernizing the extension and bringing all dependencies up to date.
yarnalso replaced withjlpmas a recommended package manager for JupyterLab. All npm dependencies are up to date except for the JupyterLab and Lumino (they would require JupyterLab 4).Similar PR to update to the latest JupyterLab to follow.
