On Windows (and here on Github) the encoding of the cedille causes problems when checking out the git repository. Git GUI tools are confused and detect a rename, but they can't find the original encoded file again. An undoable change gets stuck in the changes list.
File name encoding changed to UTF-8 with the cli tool.
