I have not seen a single workers.dev domain in that list so far. Unsure if this is the correct approach to add this, or if it is even possible to have a CNAME from a Zone that is not owned by the account the worker runs on pointing to it(?)

We can try, but I think Workers don't allow for cross-zone CNAMEs -- last time I spoke to the Cloudflare team, this was something they were working on to have parity with how Pages behaves.

After some talks with @MattIPv4, for safety reasons we decided to stay on Vercel for now until Cloudflare properly implements CNAME support for Workers.
