This is completely unprofessional for Google to have sample code that doesn't even work, since some API is deprecated. Ridiculous!

Even more shameful is having this as random code you need to "deploy", instead of being a part of Google Calendar.
What's the point of paying for GSuite, if the clients are the ones developing the code?
