If you are using the previous release plugin samples, it's advised that you delete them and start fresh with the new plugin page samples. If you have heavy edits on your pages, they will still work, but you should first rename those page titles before importing the new pages. You can individually copy your custom buttons over to the new pages and delete your earlier customized pages.
This release enables the following:
- A new button action for typing a key sequence, optionally followed by Enter, into the active Callsign box. This eliminates needing to send a bunch of individual keys yourself and is used to type magic text commands such as CW, SSB, 14041.1, BONUS, ROVERQTH, and other text commands. Special known commands WIPELOG, BEACONS, and LOADSPOTS will inhibit pressing Enter since those automatically pop up a dialog on last letter entry.
- Enabling TP logic for most of the RadioInfo data in events and states in your TouchPortal pages and buttons.
- Dynamic painting of the new N1MM+ button sample to show connection status
- Bug fixes.
The exposed logic is now used to make the N1MM+ button paint dynamically on each sample page. If there is a UDP connection problem between the plugin and N1MM+, the button will show a big red X. Otherwise, the button will paint normally for one radio, and if two radios are connected, the plus graphic in the button icon will jump left and right over the M's to indicate which radio is active. Return to SO1V single radio, or loss of connection to N1MM+, will eventually be indicated after a 15 second timeout period.
Somewhat-advanced examples of using the RadioInfo states to do custom rig behaviors can be found in the new (lightly tested) Radio Adjustment Flex 6000 sample page found in the plugin pack zip file.
