WP Open Data Products

Open Data products anticipated from MELODIES

Following a suggestion from our PAB, this page is to collect a list of Open Data products that we anticipate publishing from the MELODIES project. Please add to the list below a brief description of any Open Data you intend to produce plus the WP that is producing the data (one line per dataset).

This page is just to collect future plans - it does not commit you to anything!

• WP3: Annual land cover and land use for UK. Land cover information tailored for emissions reporting under UNFCCC. Key new advance is the production of these maps on an annual basis.
• WP3: Soil moisture database for UK. Collected historic in situ soil moisture data for the UK.
• WP5: Example for site-spedific information service for land management
• WP6: Spatial GES Indicator. Maps of ocean state variables (temperature, salinity, kinetic energy, density, upwelling indicator, wave, mixing indicator, residence time, nutrient, oxygen, pH)
• WP6: Temporal GES Indicator. Annual and seasonal timeseries climatology of ocean state variables (temperature, salinity, kinetic energy, density, upwelling indicator, wave, mixing indicator, residence time, nutrient, oxygen, pH)
• WP7: Land Use/Land Cover map. LULC classification with 30m resolution and an 11 class nomenclature.
• WP7: Land Use/Land Cover Changes map. LULC changes between user defined reference years.
• WP7: Land Condition map. This dataset classifies the areas accordingly to their estimated Land Condition.
• WP7: Desertification Susceptibility Indicator map. This dataset classifies the areas accordingly to their estimated Susceptibility to Desertification.
