GUI Overview

Overview

This describes the basic functionality of the prosEO graphical user interface (GUI) on the basis of prosEO test mission (PTM).

First a short view on basic action elements:

• Bookmarks: In the left window column are the bookmark links to open the base element descriptions of prosEO:

• Link : References to another page and open it after left mouse click.
• Selection List : Open a (multiple) selection list for choice of object(s).
• Plus : The plus has two possible functions, first open a more detailed view of an object, second create a new object.
• Remove : Remove an object.
• Object Menu : Open an object specific menu.
• Page selection : Pages with potentially large content lists are divided into pages to avoid the slow loading. The possible action selections are in blue, the others are grayed.
  • << opens the first page.
  • < opens the previous page.
  • n e.g. 2 opens the page number '2'.
  • > opens the next page.
  • >> opens the last page.
• Page size: The number of elements could be set and the total number of elements is shown after
• Ascending sort : Selection of ascending sort direction in a table column.
• Descending sort : Selection of descending sort direction in a table column.
• Mouse over help for selection fields and menu entries.

After login on each page is it possible to

• See the mission and the path to the current page.
• Help Button to open the Wiki entry of current page.
• Logout or see the Roles of current user
