Actually, version 2 of the Mailchimp API was removed on 31 December 2016, according to http://us12.campaign-archive2.com/?u=165abe0a1aa09263bc6ad1397&id=390ec1286a&e= |

Version 2 of the Mailchimp API has been deprecated for a while now. All current Mailchimp API documentation refers to version 3.
