Updates to the size check criteria for batch flushing. This is a fix for the issue when the compression estimate for an added record is inaccurate, causing the batch to overflow.
Added two new unit tests to verify that this change (1) does not impact the ability to append large compressible records and (2) large uncompressible records still fail as expected. Also updated helper methods for the tests.
