This PR proposes the following changes:

  • Convert to Google Fonts variable font API distribution of Open Sans typeface (body copy)
  • Convert to Google Fonts variable font API distribution of Inter typeface (headers)
  • Extend Open Sans character set support to include extended Greek, extended Cyrillic, and Vietnamese
  • activate font-display: swap feature on both typefaces
  • use explicit https:// protocol definition on all typeface CSS requests
