looks ok to me, naming probably could be better since ancillary is the name of preset(buffer) but its ok |

Sorry for delay, getting ready for talk at a conference! I think I will update the naming convention and then it should be ready to merge. The stats are working reliably on our side. |
Rename ancillary_channel to avoid conflict with existing preset buffer

@Andrey1994 this should be ready to review. My colleague @calebkuitenbrouwer was able to address the naming issue, let us know if his changes look good to you as well. |
