This commit was originally merged in #31 . However, this caused some issues running under proton, so has been reverted. This PR won't be merged until we can be sure they're resolved.
Specifically, something in one of the native python modules (under the
DLLsdir) causes crashes when loaded. Removing them from the python path makes everything load normally - but since we want functionality from it, it's not an acceptable solution.
