Much like the case in #2615 , this is me further adjusting (i.e. rolling back) some of the changes of #2611 in regards to lower w as I again believe I made it too wide. Basically the aperture of single v is optically wider of that of u and should not have been used as a basis for the width of w simply as an analogue of ɯ. Also, I don't think any "diagonal correction" code in place for lower w is properly equipped for the wider width yet.

I don't have any screenshots saved on my PC of lower w under the previous widths at this current time, but some relevant screenshots of it still exist in the PR body of #2611 in case you need them for comparison.
