@dhomeier - just FYI, most other FRs listed specific roadmap items instead of broad roadmap categories, and that's more what we intended here. So you might want to be more specific (not a requirement, it just might up the odds of this getting accepted)

And to be clear, the funds requested would be in addition to your current contract, correct? Please be explicit in the text.

Thanks for the comments; I had noted the specific items in other FRs but but left them until the scope of this one had been finalised.

Regarding the funds I confess I had become confused by the fact that the previous requests have now already been extended past the original two years while the new call was for 2026. More specifically, in #397 I had applied for funding until April 2026, the second year of which has been covered by the renewed contract in the ROSES-2024 budget.
Since that current contract runs through December 2026, but I expect its budget to cover my work until April 2026 at the present rate, this FR is both in extension and addition to it, to cover work until the end of the year.
For clarification I have corrected the hours and changed the starting date to 1 April (with technically one month of overlap, to allow for some flexibility). Apologies for any confusion over this!
