#Retrieve It - Decentralized Lost and Found Platform Welcome to Retrieve It, a decentralized platform built to solve the problem of lost and found items. Users can register and search for their lost items, while finders who return items to the rightful owner are rewarded with cryptocurrency, such as Bitcoin or Ethereum, after completing certain milestones. This project was created during the Code4Cause Hackathon @NSUT Delhi. Setup Guide Follow these steps to set up and explore the Retrieve It project: Step 1: Download the Repository Clone or download the repository to your local machine using the following command: git clone https://github.com/your-username/Code4Cause-Project-Retrieve-it.git Or, download the ZIP file directly from GitHub and extract it to your desired location. Step 2: Open the Folder in Your Code Editor Open the complete project folder in your desired code editor (e.g., VS Code, Sublime Text, or any other you prefer). All necessary files are already organized and ready for you. Step 3: No Need to Link Files You don’t need to worry about linking the CSS or JavaScript files; it's already done. The project is pre-configured, so you're good to go! Step 4: Open index.html in Any Browser To start exploring, simply open the index.html file in any browser (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, or Edge). This will load the main interface of the Retrieve It platform. Step 5: Explore and Enjoy Now, explore the platform and Enjoy your experience with Retrieve It! #Contributing Feel free to fork the repository, create new branches, and contribute to improving the Retrieve It platform. Pull requests are welcome!
