replace chapter 11 exercises 3 question 3 a. b. c. itemized list to a) b) c) - it was turning into a numbered list in the MD and was messing up the order of the questions (went 1, 2, 3, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 4)
attempting to add backslashes (a\) to see if that works to not trigger the auto-numbering
attempting to switch to dashes instead to remove the itemized list and remove confusion with sub-numbering.

chapter 11 exercise 3 question 3 had a numbered sub-list written out as a. b. c. on the QMD file – it rendered in the MD file as 1. 2. 3. meaning that the numbering on the question was very confusing (looked like 1, 2, 3, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 4). I edited the QMD and removed the direct numbering and added bulletpoints (which would be appropriate because a. b. c. is not needed since the steps are not sequential) – this QMD can be rendered to produce the appropriate MD file.
