For a beginner user, the use of ESPHome software is recommended for an easier experience. Please note the current limitations of using this software as explained here.

For a more advanced and customizable experience, the use of ESP-IDF software via PlatformIO is recommended. Please note that the software is still in the initial development and testing phase and bugs may be present.
