How to conduct curations to Human GEM

Hao Wang edited this page Sep 29, 2021 · 2 revisions

Curations in Human-GEM are evidence-based. In other words, changes and modifications to Human-GEM should be made in accordance with experimental results and/or theoretical predictions in published literature. We believe this is an ongoing process, during which community contributions are highly welcome!

Curation guidelines:

  • Dead-end reactions are allowed as long as the biochemical association has been experimentally verified
  • Occam's razor principle: when multiple curation options exist, choose the simplest one
  • Release early, release often (Eric S. Raymond)
