Short Bio / Background
I’m a pre-final year B.Tech student in Mechanical and Automation Engineering at IGDTUW, New Delhi, with a CGPA of 8.98/10. I secured Rank 2 in my department in the last semester. I’ve interned with Tata Truenorth Automobiles and IGDTUW’s Centre of Excellence, where I developed AI/ML-based solutions such as predictive maintenance dashboards and a real-time facial recognition attendance system using Python, OpenCV, and Streamlit. I actively contribute to open-source projects and enjoy working on optimization and automation challenges.
Description of the Project I'm Interested In
I am applying for the CUTEst.jl small grant project, which focuses on modernizing the CUTEst nonlinear optimization test suite for integration with Julia’s Optimization.jl interface and the SciML benchmarking tools.
My planned contributions include:
This project will improve Optimization.jl’s benchmarking ecosystem and help the community evaluate and compare solvers across standard optimization problems more effectively.

Additional Context
I will stay in regular contact with the reviewers (Chris Rackauckas and Vaibhav Dixit) via Zulip’s #sciml-bridged channel and share weekly progress updates. If more time is needed, I will submit a follow-up PR requesting an extension. I’m excited to contribute to the SciML ecosystem through this grant.
