Skynet is a chrome extension aimed at creating a user interface inspired by the rogue ai from terminator with a vintage CRT-like display effect.

Skynet offers a retro-styled interface reminiscent of old CRT monitors. It provides functionalities such as:

Usage

To use Skynet, simply load as a chrome extension in your web browser. Then, you can:

  1. Enter your query in the search bar and press Enter to perform a Google search.
  2. View your past search history and click on an item to perform the search again.
  3. Explore the latest news displayed in the RSS widget.
  4. Navigate to popular websites using the links provided in the navigation bar.

Installation

To install Skynet locally, follow these steps:

  1. Clone the repository: git clone https://github.com/your-username/skynet.git amd customize as needed
  2. go to chrome://extensions and enable developer mode.
  3. select "load unpacked extension"
  4. open the directory
