Various minor changes to support deployment of Spack on Ella.
The script
ella_test_install.shsets the necessary environment variables and runs./scripts/install_spack.shand./scripts/install_python.sh.The
./systems/ella/settings.shscript sets theUSER_PERMANENT_FILES_PREFIXandroot_direnvironment variables to locations in/pawsey/software/projects/pawsey0001, as this is the highest-level directory on/softwarewhere I have write permissions. This is a temporary workaround.
