There are several celestial objects you can look at in Stellar Sky.

Stars

It's full of stars

As you would know, Stars are the main elements of the night sky taking majority of the night sky scene.

On Stellar Sky, the stars are taken from the real night sky.

They're shaped more realistically - they twinkles.

Sun

Sun with grid elements

Surely you know what the Sun is, right?

On Stellar Sky, the Sun moves diagonally like on real world.

Also it moves up and down throughout a year, on the highest in summer, on the lowest in winter.

For more information, take a look at real sun's path.

Moon

Half moon among those stars

You may think the Moon is always at the opposite from the Sun. But it's definitely not true.

the Moon in reality moves regardless of the Sun - It just rotates around the Earth.

Stellar Sky follows the reality, so don't be shocked when you see the Moon so close to the Sun!

Phase

Phase of the moon follows from the angle between the Sun and the Moon.

So it's new moon when they are so close, half moon when they are perpendicular, full moon when they are at the opposite.

For more information, pay attention to the Moon's life cycle.

Milky Way

Milky way among the stars

There is also Milky way on the night sky of Stellar Sky. It was added on the version 0.1.22 - which is ancient for now.

On Stellar Sky, It's just for the looks.

Deep Sky Objects

(Picture pending) Deep Sky Objects are Astronomical Objects other than individual stars and Solar System objects.

In most case, they are either clusters, galaxies, or nebulae.

Some of the deep sky objects can be seen on Stellar Sky by either naked eye or with telescopes added by other mods.
