Replace the malformed BPE_APPEND_JAVA_TOOL_OPTIONS value (the add-opens list was duplicated with a missing space, producing the broken token java.lang=ALL-UNNAMED-XX:+UseG1GC) with the full add-opens set recommended by Apache Ignite for JDK 11+. Also default bootBuildImage publish to false so local builds no longer try to push to Docker Hub; CI publishes via the --publishImage flag. Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Adopt the standard release convention: gradle.properties holds the plain version, development builds get -SNAPSHOT appended automatically, and master publishes the version as-is via -Prelease. PR builds keep their explicit -pr<N>.<sha> override. - append -SNAPSHOT in java-common-conventions unless -Prelease is set or the version already carries a suffix - compute the effective version per event in the build workflow (PR tag / SNAPSHOT on develop / plain release on master) - add version-check workflow that blocks PRs to master unless continuumVersion is bumped above the base branch (releases are immutable in Maven Central) Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
