This PR fixes printf/scanf formats as indicated by cppcheck:

  • printf conversion specifiers must be unsigned when the argument is unsigned,
  • scanf conversion "requires" an unsigned argument when the conversion specifiers is unsigned. Some instances are fixed by cast because changing the actual variable type may be problematic.
