Kelsey Hightower can't prepare a new keynote, so Addie Cobb hosts him in a fireside chat instead (same concepts, different format), per #summit2026planning.

Changes

  • Schedule row (15:00 UTC) and his bio on the Summit page now describe a fireside chat with Addie Cobb instead of a keynote.
  • His badge changes from Keynote to Featured, and his bio moves out of "Keynote speakers" into its own "Fireside chat" section.
  • The announcement is rewritten as a fireside chat announcement and renamed to 2026-10-kelsey-hightower-fireside-chat.md; date and image are unchanged.
  • The closing line now lists Scott Hanselman, Sarah Novotny, and David Spinks as the keynote speakers.

To confirm

  • The session title is taken from the handoff and not checked against the final Slack graphic.
  • Addie's quote keeps her words except "as a keynote speaker" is dropped from the first sentence.
  • Featured badge is my choice for the fireside chat.

Screenshots

Pending: full-page screenshots of /events/isc-2026/ and the announcement page, to be dropped in through github.com.

A clean hugo build passes.
