Hello there, I am Gopika! 🐦

Hii, I am a researcher currently pursuing my master’s degree in the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master in Artificial Intelligence (EMAI) at Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF). Previously, I earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from New York University, Abu Dhabi, with minors in Applied Mathematics and Interactive Media.

My research interests include developing creative tools for music and exploring knowledge discovery and representation. I am particularly passionate about using machine learning and data science to study cultural evolution, artistic practices, and geographical influences in music. My work focuses on contributing to the preservation and innovation of traditional musical systems, through cutting-edge technological solutions.
